The Waccabuc Historic District in the Westschester County town of Lewisboro is a largely agricultural community of pastureland, meadows and lakes. The five New York City-area places nominated for state historic preservation status by Gov. Andrew Cuomo 's administration include a park commissioned by urban planner Robert Moses in the Bronx, a Bauhaus-designed Jewish center in Brooklyn and a 10-foot-wide "skinny" house built in Westchester County.
